As an English major turned designer, books have always been a huge part of my life. After researching magazines from the Regency era, I drew inspiration from fashion magazines to capture the essence of the characters. The simplified forms allowed the personalities to shine, while selective use of color brought a fresh, contemporary feel to this beloved classic. I applied this style for the cover design of Pride & Prejudice to create a set.
